    Received from our US Postal Service (USPS) specialist:


    The Mandatory Implementation date for the Intelligent Mail Barcode has been extended beyond May 2011. Customers will be notified as soon as the new implementation date has been determined. Customers are still encouraged to apply for their Mailer ID as stated below.Customers may apply the Postnet Barcode or Intelligent Mail Barcode, (IMB Preferred) on mail pieces claiming automated pricing.This includes all reply mail enclosures submitted as contents. The IMB must include customer's Mailer Identification number (MID) which may be obtained at usps.com and applying through the Business Customer Gateway link at lower right corner. If you have concerns regarding the BCG site please contact the Postal One Helpdesk at (800) 522-9085: For additional information regarding your IMB-MID please visit ribbs.usps.gov

    Once registered please reenter BCG site, click on Design&Prepare/Mailer ID/complete application/choose Basic-full service option/submit. Mailer ID will populate into BCG account profile within 1-2 hrs. Mailer ID will be 6 or 9 digit number. Artwork request may take one week. Please plan accordingly!

    It's real easy to use and doesn't change your files in any way.
