    Thanks for clarifying.

I guess for me I've done logotypes before so a part of me wanted to do something different for myself but I realize I was too focused on one idea and not letting it...

What sorts of things can be associated with eye care? Actual things, like eye charts and tears? More abstract things, like clarity and focus? Or maybe even concepts like beauty and style? There are lots...

I have noticed other logos used an eye but I thought the way I used the P and S made it stand out among it's competition. I chose avant garde because I thought it wouldn't look dated. I'm curious why...

Using Avant Garde type might have been a route to looking upscale back in the 1970s, but today it mostly looks dated.

Making an eye out of the P & S is a nice idea, but until I read your...

#1) we don't support outside advertising here
#2) most people here are freelancers, contractors, or software developers
#3) auction sites like that demean our industry and take food out of mouths, in my opinion

if you feel i was wrong in editing your post, send me a pm and tell me why and i'll review it. welcome to the gdf.

        Hi Unc,
The persons IP is in china. Since that person likes to ignore our gentle no advertising warning, that IP block in CHina can no longer see, post, etc. on this forum.

        BLOCKED

Geex I hate this sort of thing, but what can you do other than slap em down a notch for doing what is very obviously not allowed (sigh).

Personally unless i can meet with someone face to face they won't do any programming for us. This overseaes outsourcing is taking US jobs, and that really sits sideways with me. Folks that may be doing overseas outsourcing, don't get me wrong, it isn't you personally,I am mad at the Cheap A$$ed companies in the US that fire people so they can send work outside the US, and save a little money in the short term. Some things I can see outsourcing and more power to those doing it, but don't fire and lay off employees so you can hire less exensive labor.
