  • Looking For: A Blog titled 'Design Scent'? Or something like that!

Once a year or so ago I found a really interesting design blog, something about "design smell" or "scent" or something. There was some kind of connotation to a smell in the title, as far as I remember.
It seemed like there was a small amount of graphic designers involved, and then a few outside featured studio artists or illustrators. It included packaging design and the blog itself was well-designed, with good typography.

I don't remember anything other than that...

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and could possibly help me find it? It was very distinctive, not run-of-the-mill; the stuff was high quality.

I think I would recognize it if I saw it again.

Oh, that explains it. I first saw it on my phone. Tapatalk strips out all the formatting.

LOL...Umm...Have you tried a Google search? That's about as distinctive as.."I remember this car once. It was white, had some windows, wheels, and an engine. It was REALLY distinctive. Can you tell me the name of it?" LMAO

Funny; aversion to Powerpoint seem nearly universal among graphic designers. Frankly, the reasons for that escape me somewhat. It's really just another piece of software.

                          I've used Keynote...

Personally, I refuse to work with PowerPoint by feigning ignorance and bafflement as to how it works. There's no piece of mainstream software I've ever run across that I despise more than PowerPoint....

How's that? Powerpoint isn't closed to "zing" any more than any other software. In fact, it's an excellent tool for its purpose.

Not sure I understand that last question,...
