    Thanks for clarifying.

I guess for me I've done logotypes before so a part of me wanted to do something different for myself but I realize I was too focused on one idea and not letting it...

I have noticed other logos used an eye but I thought the way I used the P and S made it stand out among it's competition. I chose avant garde because I thought it wouldn't look dated. I'm curious why...

  • Paper Samples for Packaging?

Hello, does anybody know websites where I can order papers samples specifically used for packaging? Particularly more tactile papers similar to kraft, recycled paper, etc?

I have samples of papers which I ordered online but I see mostly types used for stationery, brochures, etc.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Google Packaging paper manufacturers and you'll get some names of manufacturers you can contact and request samples. I'm not sure if they are like paper companies, but if they are, they'll send you lots of samples for free. i.e. French paper, Wasau, Neenah, etc.

      Hi WannaBrie,
I actually have samples from those paper companies (except French Paper, I should check them out, thanks! )but it looks like the papers they send are used more for stationery, lining, envelopes, etc. I'm looking for ones that are used more for packaging like gables, gift boxes, gourmet packaging.

You may have to contact packaging printers and request samples from them.

I understood that, what I said was "Google Packaging paper manufacturers and you'll get some names of manufacturers you can contact and request samples." I did and got a good deal of results. Just look at teh very first one that comes up, there is a list.

Oh my, that IS an impressive list! Sorry, I have been trying to google with other keywords earlier so I must have been tired that I missed "manufacturers" when you mentioned it. Thanks so much.
