  • Books on the Printing Process.

    He guys.

I'm looking for some books that'd be a good resource for teaching me a bit more about the printing process. I know enough to keep me employed as a designer, but I want to build my repertoire. I want to be able to understand more of what our printers do and what they go through when he get a finished order back.

"What sort of process" you might say. Well, I managed to find a book about plate lithography from the local library, so I guess I'm wanting to brush up about the more common processes used. I'm also always interested to read about the origins (no matter what the subject).

Anyone know of any good books they could recommend?

You can tell them that someone always manages to get away with theft (yes, start calling it theft), but that doesn't make it okay. Remind them that if they choose to steal, they risk a cease & desist,...

Half a swastika? The S? Too many bars. Never would have made the connection and still don't see it automatically.

Just stay away from transparency, raster effect shadows, and gradients when creating your logo.

It's funny windows and sheet goods were mentioned.

Thanks, just at the rough sketching stage at the moment.

I was initially going to go with a square with a peel but then thought overlapping squares might be a lot better.

              And...
