  • Can you spare 10 minutes of your time for a design project?

    #1
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this thread, I'm hoping that the site moderators are ok with me posting the following - if you're not I apologise in advance =) I'm not sure how you guys take to promoting each others work etc?

I've just spent the past hour browsing through the various threads on this site and i like what I see - this seems like a really helpful online community of creative people, its great to see =) and this said I'm wondering if a few of you might be interesting in sparing 10 minutes to help me out - please

I've been a designer for 8 years now, I specialise in design for print but dabble in web and various other areas. I'm currently working on a personal project that uses 3D modelling in Alias Maya. My objective is to use 3D Modelling as an analogy for linguistic construction (exploring how we as individuals understand the world around us and define value to objects etc) - my work is underpinned by the notion of construction with no physical or tangible form.

Some people may find the above idea to have no substance but I find it quite interesting, and thought provoking =) Everyone in this forum seems to be like minded and I was wondering if you might be interested:

I'm looking for people who can spare 10 minutes to fill in two online questionnaires, the results of which will become the basis of a 3D Model/Animation. Once the work is done I do intend to publish it online for further feedback.

If you are interested in the above and can spare 10 minutes, or know of anyone else who might also be interested and willing to take part please check out and forward the following URL - All results will be counted and compiled on Tuesday 1st June 2005 at 2pm GMT.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm looking for as many participants as possible. Once again, many thanks for reading this thread, I hope it proved of interest and does break any of the forum rules

Smallest File Size is what I do too. It's always interesting when they come back and ask for a higher res, using professional terminology that either someone fed them or they read online. Sometimes I'll...
