  • New logo concept

    I am just experimenting for my own company logo (just fantasy)

    My company name is CaparDesigns

    C = my first letter of my last name
    D = Designs

    i like clean simple logos & it needs to be a clean message

        It really doesn't matter whether someone "likes" it; the important thing is whether it has the potential to be an effective business identity. The measurement of that potential cannot be made in a vacuum, simply by looking at a logo. This is why competent logo designers working in the correct way conduct interviews, study the target market, consider all the brand-recognition touch-points in the business model and customer experience, etc. For anyone here to even consider whether that particular mark could work for your business, we'd need all that information about your business.

        Otherwise, the only conversation available would be of mechanical aesthetics:
        • If you want the business to be known as "CD," the backward C is probably a bad idea.
        • The tagline font is too thin
        • The TM doesn't add anything of enough value to justify the shape-irregularity it poses
        I'd rather be killed than come to your party, but if you don't invite me, I'll kill myself.

          Because reading isn't carried out by the brain's thinking center; it is (not necessarily rightly) a function of the moving center, (the same apparatus that enables you to run down a flight of stairs using only your vision to gauge the actions required by the body). Because of this, reading, and particularly that which contributes to brand recognition, is not analytical...it's optical...it's shape recognition. The backward C is much more easily recognized in this way as an incomplete ''3'' than it is a ''C''.

        Slightly off topic, but I would love it if it said OCD with the C backwards as you've shown.

        A person with OCD would be compelled to change the C to be facing correctly. It would be an ironic logo.

          I'd advise trying to determine whether your designs are more powerful or more innovative, and then design to promote that strength.
