  • Do you see anything I've missed?

    #1
We're working up a redesign for our web site...critiquing your own work is always tough because you're more harsh on yourself, usually over trivial details. Anyway, I thought I'd get some feedback from other people in the industry and see if ya'll see any glaring problems that I may have missed.

Keep in mind, many of the links won't work until everything is implimented and the flash part at the top will include more clients/testimonials once we put them together. Also, we're modifying the links at the very bottom of the page slightly (color issues - a CSS thing changed them globally so they need their own style). I think that's about it for now.

Let me know what you all think

First impression, nice and clean good layout and color scheme, very nice slow burn rollovers on secondary pages. I really like your logo and how the site ties into it color-wise. Living in wildfire country, the color scheme really hits it.

On a Mac running 10.4.6 in FF and Safari, the Nav Bar pulldowns show too high; they block the menu items themselves so I'm unable to see what I'm pulling down from, or any of the other headings close by.

Comparing this to your current site, the one thing I think is crucial particularly because you have so much more information, is consistency in navigation and placement, as well as ready availability. I'm seeing some sections where the nav is jumping around, and that's hard to follow. On your current site I know exactly where my nav is at all times.

You've got a ton of information on this site and I don't envy the many hours yet to come to get it to flow the way you want, but it'll be worth it.

All pages are going to be changed to this layout/design once it's completed.

Oh...and there will be something to divide the main content from the images on the right as well as a showcase thing between those images & the html/css/xml images/links.

Yum. I do love salmon sandwiches. The bakery near me do great smoked salmon bagels. It's not a bagel shop so they don't jack up the prices.

Yes, I plan to have about 8-10 projects, many taking two pages (single side). the price break for the printer was at 25 sheets, so that's what I was going with. I haven't laid anything out yet as I've...
