Hi guys, need a bit of crit and feedback on the above logo.

I am developing a bookmark collecting website as my university project.
I though that the tentacle is a good representation of someting that gabs and snatches, and a peeled banana as a representation of quality content.
Do you think the logo works?

Comments on the name and layout are also welcome.

So the emphasis on grabbing just the edible inside of the banana, not the skin, does not suggest you to expect a certain standard of content?

Banana skin? I thought it was a banana peel.

Banana skin seems to be as valid http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl...=f&oq=&start=0

I like the way it rhymes with "links"

Emma Peel, I could understand. But banana peel? Doesn't say "quality" to me.

*waits to see how many old men like me remember Emma Peel*

Grabbing a book might make more sense than a banana.

Or an octopus reading a book.

Or an octopus in a jar. (links in one container?)

looks like the identical is getting frisky with the banana

i think banana peel rather than skin also but i'm in the US it might be different on your side of the pond.

links skins...similar letters NOT similar sound.

I too thought the tentacle looked like it was -hmmmm- pulling the banana, so to speak.

And tentacle and testicle do rhyme.
