        Why'd you say that?

Because we only have the graphic to go by. This is why I asked for more info. What is this supposed to invite me to? An event? A club? What style of event/club is it? Who is this supposed to be geared toward? It's nearly impossible to critique something without any background to go along with it. All we have to go with it aside from the word 'invite' is that graphic. To me it looks more like an illustration that you'd find in a business magazine, expressing something along the lines of global economy.

Firstly just kidding around - it does look like he just ripped his balls off - with the two globe type things in his hands and his legs spreadeagled.
Didn't mean any offence, it was a light-hearted joke.

Secondly - need more info. Is there a reverse side to it?

It's not very descriptive as an invite.

Sorry. It's an invite for an event titled "Business and Economic Convention".

I'm sure I've seen that image of the man illustrated there before? Where did you get it?

As I mentioned in my last post, in its current state it looks more like an illustration that you'd find in a business magazine alongside an article that references the global economy. Without text, it doesn't look like an invitation. Therefore I really can't critique it as such.

Not the same, but reminded me of the old acrobat logo.

That is similar - but I have definitely seen that exact illustration before somewhere?

it looks like something you'd get off a stock site. If you made the illustration yourself thats pretty cool though. even if you didnt, it suits the business/economy theme well.

still cant give a proper crit until we see the finished product however.

Why don't you post the original for them to see, the one you showed to me in class.

He recreated this from a clip art btw. And he's my classmate.

I think I am getting a bit better with the pen tool, but let me know if you see where I can improve? Also, if there are areas to improve the illustration style, thanks?...

This is something I made in my free time.

I'm not planning on going to art school or anything like that, but I still like drawing and designing, so I'm planning on doing it as a side thing....
