I have just done this logo and added the shining affect for the first time, I don't know the technical term as I am a greenhorn.
First, any crit appreciated, and second, should these shining type logos only be used on websites to represent buttons, or do they get used elsewhere, like on letterheads?
This logo is for a company which supplies components and tooling to the automotive trade, mostly mechanics doing servicing and repairs.
So it will likely be on the shopfront, the delivery vans etc.
I purposely chose the orange and black to keep in tune with the theme of his main tool supplier, i.e. BETA, so as not to distract / conflict with the current theme of his premises.
I know BETA may not always be his number one supplier, but at such a time I think a simple change in colour still lets it work, i.e. he's not tied to the BETA look with the logo.
Thanks
