i have seen that BG before....looks like a tutorial
the tenticals are cool....the letter has two many effects...

ok ok I sorta get bout the backgrouind cos it is a commonly used technique called techno ! But it wasnt from a tutorial! And also i dont kno what ure sayin bout the text it just has the bevel/emboss right click thingy thats all!!!!!!!!!!Comment

that's the very point. you have to pay great attention if you use this effect in general not only in connection with text. in most cases it looks like some kind of powerpoint template or word-art, ...
keep that in mind

dont use effects or filters at the defaut settings or anything close enough to tell
if I can staight out spot filters or effects thats a bad thing
