As generic as it may appear for many reasons this thing was difficult to create, and even still it isn't where it should be. I'll texture it next. There's a lot of ways to pimp this out. It's only been about 2 years in the making, lol.

    Comments and crits always appreciated.

2 YEARS!!!! would love to know why?

Anyway as for a crrit on first look it looks like a popes crown, the big give away is the cross, but i do feel though if the cross was not there would have i thought it to be a crown? My answer is no, it would personally look like a stylish postmans hat, maybe becuase theres no depth yet to the illustration or maybe becasue am conditioned to think of a fairy tale crown, spikey with foriegn jewels embedded.

Since you are looking for a generic shape and not a abstract.I think you should have named your title something else, becuase also since i read crown, i will instantly see crown, wera as if the title was alittle different to the content maybe i would be guessing between hat or crown. Try that. Dont tell us what its supposed to be, but see what our first thoughts are.

2 years? I hope you are charging by the hour...

Aside from that, I don't have a lot of criticism. It looks like a crown to me. Once some color is added it will look more crown-like.

If you don't mind me asking, what is it going to be used for?

You should know by now that it's pretty difficult to crit something with no background info.

Another ten years work on it and you'll have yourself a nice piece of clipart there.

Will you add uprights in the back? Right now it looks like you just have the two in front and one on each side. Other than that, sure, looks crowny.

So you received feedback, had it nearly set, then went back to square one?

Would be nice to see the images from the previous thread too.

I really think you should pay more of an homage to the Neapolitan crowns of the early Late Middle Ages.
