    Hi all,
I am designing a logo for my friend who is starting a music and art training school. He told me that logo should be simple, modern, youth oriented and ideally should be reproducible in a guitar. He told me to experiment with Gclef and come with something novel. Although have been working on this since weeks, I have feeling that the logo is missing something. Also I am facing problem in showing up the details in logo.

Although as you could see in zoomed out picture, the details are getting lost when size of logo is proportioned according to the typeface.Let me know if you have any ideas to overcome this conflict of size vs detail.
I would very much appreciate your inputs/suggestions/critics.

There's one very simple solution... Less detail.

Thanks A-ron. I think i can chuck out the floral.. they are almost invisible..My concern has been oversimplification.. Correct me if i am wrong, i go with "devil is in the detail" in this context..

        When in doubt, go simple.

I like the treble clef symbol, the devil is in the details, it's just in only including the absolute minimum amount detail required to represent what you are trying to represent.

That being said, I think you are trying to do too much with the text.

I don't think you need two colors here, I would like it in purple. If you rework the symbol with less detail, it looks good as it is or knocked out of the square. (don't like it stacked though) I also think you're doing a bit too much with "creative" (having the e's match might help) and I don't think the type chosen for the tagline suits it well.

I'd stick with the top design. Like others have said, make it more simplistic, those details will be non existent at smaller sizes.

It's just a bit busy at the moment. Having a customized icon within the logo, whilst having customized type aswell, just makes it feel like there's too much going on.

I'd refine the icon and and select a less energetic typeface.
