  • Logo feedback needed!

    #1
Trying to get back into freelancing after focusing on my day job for awhile.

I'm working on this logo for a local property management company. It's owned by two guys who both have beagles (hence the name) and are insistent on having a beagle in the logo. Does it look too forced? Any constructive comments are welcome. Thank you!

I understand the white space and the concept, but it looks like his lovely willy fell off. Not only that but it was censored killing a doormouse.

The head looks like it's looking away, the tail is very phallic. I've never seen a dog with acute angles like that.

Consider a house with a beagle illustration beside it, playing frisbie, chasing, being a dog, ironing etc.

Maybe some other concept. Separate dog from a house rather than a dog is bigger than house. Find much better font.

Apart from the type choice and the odd position choice of the dogs head for a silhouette, I like the concept. Not all dogs are dawgs, some are bitches and subsequently don't have willies...

The dog being larger than the house works because the name of the property management company is a beagle and a property management company looks after your property... The connection isn't too far out.

Did your client want a Beagle/dog? Or are they going more for a Bay/Water feel? You might ask them a few questions before moving forward.

The OP did mention that the Beagle is a required part of the logo.

Hi, In my opinion, the font needs to be sans serif in keeping with the modern feel of your graphic. The graphic could also be much smaller, in relation to the text so it is more subtle.
