I combined the graphic I designed before with a new name for the printer. Let me know what you think of the name and logo, thanks.

Copperplate? Sorry man but seems like a weak font choice and doesn't look like a printer.
The graphics are sloppy too.

Don't you have something like 15000 different versions of several different copy shops with several different names now?
Not sure what your intent is (looks like a cyclone) but it is not working.

My boss would say "NO." (and nothing else) and hand it back to me.
What are the swooshes supposed to be? Why copperplate? Why is "enter" a different typeface?

And why are all the C's different shapes and different angles? And your kerning is all over the place. Sorry, but it just comes across as very sloppy and not well thought out.

I think it was too hard to make my graphic fit as the CCC in the name. I will try it separate from the name. I do have a few other names I tried. I kinda like printzilla. There are a couple websites in other countries. I think one just uses the domain name with a different compqny name.
For the graphic, some people liked the look before I changed it to represent the initials. It is a cyclone wrapped around a shield. What about the old puma, nike, and apple logo arguments and how the nike for instance represents action but not literally shoes. My logo represents the personality of the fake company I know because I created it

It's a waste of time working on something where you can change the parameters of the brief to suit yourself. You'll get nothing like that in the real world. If you are going to practice, work within a single brief. You have to make the design fit. No sense at all in working the other way around.

What's the point if you can change said "personality" whenever you hit a wall? What are you gaining from this ambiguous exercise of fakery?Originally posted by rdan173 View PostMy logo represents the personality of the fake company I know because I created it
Seems like you are still throwing half-baked ideas on a wall, and having the forum tell you what sticks and what is just another pile of spaghetti on the floor.

I mean, could you just *imagine* spending hours on a logo design for a real client, and then telling them, "You know, why don't you change your name to <this>? It would just work better for me and for my design."
Yeah, I can't imagine that ever happening either.

I was pretty sure you were going to say that PD, I remember you said it before. Especially with my shield and camelot. I like the geaphic and could pretend I had the printzilla brief and turn the end of the cyclone as a tail, done and done.

I had the logo pretty much done with Impress printing. PD said before for a student project I should have the most impressive name and logo I can come up with. I guess your saying I ahould start over with a new brief. But I was bored one day and thinking about this project so I brainstormed aome new names.

Except it doesn't really look like either of those things. It just looks like someone tried something rather odd with the Cs.Originally posted by rdan173 View PostEspecially with my shield and camelot.
