    Thanks for clarifying.

I guess for me I've done logotypes before so a part of me wanted to do something different for myself but I realize I was too focused on one idea and not letting it...

What sorts of things can be associated with eye care? Actual things, like eye charts and tears? More abstract things, like clarity and focus? Or maybe even concepts like beauty and style? There are lots...

I have noticed other logos used an eye but I thought the way I used the P and S made it stand out among it's competition. I chose avant garde because I thought it wouldn't look dated. I'm curious why...

Using Avant Garde type might have been a route to looking upscale back in the 1970s, but today it mostly looks dated.

Making an eye out of the P & S is a nice idea, but until I read your...

If it had to be embroidered, would the little splotches show up?

I like your logo, but i think it will works better on plane black color, I mean without all the white dirt on it.
I think this will be very dificult to print with this dirt.

      Good work.

I literally had to look at it 4 times to read 'Mavrik' (in fact I just clicked back on it, because I thought it said 'marik') Solid color will definitely be easier for certain applications (such as embroidering which 1984 already mentioned.) No matter what, 'international' being splotchy was very difficult to read because the splotches were proportionally larger. International, IMHO should definitely be solid.

I agree soild is the key and it's better for those people that can't see to good. But if your going to print it on fabric and want to still use the white spots, then just use a few of them but not too much.
