    i feel that its missing some sort of focal point.

      yes, the focal point, what is it? maybe more colors? at least a little more contrast to bring out the curves...right now, my eye is drawn to the lightest part of the piece...

        Well overall it just looks better but not as good as the infographics usually are! It lacks the effective catchy attractiveness. You must have focused on the fonts and your colors pattern as well!
