    I think you need to work a little longer on the kerning of the new logo. Between the E + S sits a little strange to me.

          I like the lino-cut feel.
          There is a bit too much contrast for my liking, maybe dum down the contrast a little or soak down the saturation a little. I'd like to see it as almost a grayscale-monochromatic piece with just a hint of colour.
