Hey all. Below are some sketches, a final logo, and some business cards I did for my brothers residential home design company. Working with family is always a tricky one, I told him not to worry bout the money, but he insisted to pay. So I anxious to my best for him.

    Polished Logo and Business Cards

    And then his Website

comments/suggestions - although the logo is now final.. just curious to hear from you!

Its all good stuff though I'd hate to be the poor soul that has to cut them business cards (the .com bit seems mighty close to the edge)

        That's really nice!

There's nothing about it i dislike, although i'd have to agree about the .com and also the logo itself being a little close to the edges.

The irregular curve makes the logo look crooked...or is that just because my head is tilted?

All those sketches look so good. Again, very inspiring.

That front is so much better...

I wish my sketches would actually look like something!?!

                      That is awesome.
I love the back of the business card. Your website and card tie in real well, I'd like to see any other material that you put together with the same theme.

                        Skinns,
Thanks for sharing your process progression. When you work with clients, do you show the sketches and they pick from that? My sketches are never that good, but seeing yours I could see how I could improve. Great logo and card.

What I do is make a page of my site or there site if I have the hosting info. The upload everything from there for them to view.

Here is the site that represents this client.

How did the finished printing compare to your file? How did you have it done?

I think I am getting a bit better with the pen tool, but let me know if you see where I can improve? Also, if there are areas to improve the illustration style, thanks?...
