Well as most of you probably know by reading the post count, I’m new. I stumbled upon this site searching for information on graphics design. I have looked at allot of the showcase images and I must say, many are very amazing..

I wanted to post a little something along with a small introduction. This is part of a project I am working to help build my portfolio a little. I regret that this is more conceptual work and not truly graphics art though I am very interested in design and hope to master it soon..

Enjoy, and don't go easy on me...

Hi, welcome to the forum Vinegar!!!

The black outlined figure seems the strongest to me, the flat grey & white one could look cool if maybe you added a very fine outline to it, at the moment it's just floating there. The perspectives on the skull symbols need some work considering they're seem completely flat but besides that they're fairly well drawn. Oh also if you're feeling brave you could try creating some gradient meshes for it (I'm guessing you're using Illy).

Thank you for the warm welcome and comment.. Actually this is Photoshop.. Illustrator "seems" like it would be a better tool for me since I am a big fan of vector work but I feel like anything done in illustrator can be done in half the time in Photoshop (when I freehand at least)

      Again, thank you

Actually it looks like you are using the 960.gs grid system. If my guess is correct, then the spacing between the all the heading tags and the paragraphs and numerous other elements is defined with...

Well overall it just looks better but not as good as the infographics usually are! It lacks the effective catchy attractiveness. You must have focused on the fonts and your colors pattern as well!
