  • How can I create this text effect?

    Hi all,

    Does anyone know how to achieve this text effect?

    Here's a possible first step toward something like that using Illustrator's Scribble effect...


    Overlay the untreated copy of the text...

    As you can see, come glyphs, like that X, might produce some funk, so it would be an Expand Appearance-then-refine proposition. Or perhaps it would have been more uniform if I had outlined the text first, rather than keeping it live.

          Thanks a lot HotButton & StudioMonkey, that's what i was looking for. went with the scribble effect and played about with the stroke width abit. came out nicely.
