are you talking about a book of the fonts on your system? if so there are programs that do that FontExplorer has this feature.

Are you talking about a book of all the fonts in the universe... Don't know if that is even possible, besides it'd break your lap.

Are you talking about a book of all the fonts that a vendor supplies? Some do some don't.

i saw a book like that in the library once. it was pretty old, and had samples from only 30 fonts or so, but it had all the weights and styles and samples with different sizes and leading. can't recall the name tho, sorry.

Going to give the Font Explorer a try and if not that Fontbook looks the business. If nothing else it would definately build up the old arm muscles!

thanks for your help folks, really appreciated.

We've gotten a lot of mileage out of the Fontbook, it's great to be able to just page through a book when looking for a new font (that you might not currently own).

I think that if you made the faded background image on top a different colour (match a shade of the bottom colour maybe?) the image on the left will work - its actually a nice idea.

The shapes are very confusing. If it hadn't been pointed out that the left side had a running persons silhouette I would never have figured it out. It just looked like some weird shapes to me at first.

I am having the same issues as skribe pointed out above... Also the "last page" function is heavily missed but I assume this is something that you guys are working on. I am fully aware of that...

That's kind of what I thought was the main problem, thanks Red Kittie Kat. I'll be patient, don't worry. :P

It's weird but the multi-page threads were working for me at first, now they are not. But if I click "latest activity" for the thread at the top, it shows me all the pages. Plus if I just add...
