I find the font identifier to be pretty good on the Linotype site.
http://www.linotype.com/fontidentifier?start=1. Its very similar to the identifont but refined my searches a little better.Comment

I can see why, whoever did the original was trying to line up the type. They used lower case on the top line, upper case on the second and thier lines, and just squised the hell out of them to make it all fit right.Originally posted by carter the artistComment
