It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" – Winnie the Pooh

That's not a hard choice. Everyone knows Univers tastes better...

I beg to differ Hewlie. Helvie is much tastier.

How's your head? Are you back at work yet or still on your birthday holiday?

My head's fine. After 3 days of drinking, I decided I'd better stop that before really bad things happen. So yesterday was a day of sobriety.

And I don't go back to work until Wednesday. By which time I hope to have finished installing stuff on my new computer...

What, no serif alphabet soup options?

Hm, I never noticed what font alphabeti spaghetti actually was. What do you think?

Frankster, I think every brand of alphabet soup would use a slightly different sans serif font. That low horizontal bar on the A makes it quite distinctive, but not sure what font it is offhand.

And Urst you serif lover, perhaps it's time you created a sans serif font for those days when we need a serious and traditional soup.

There is only Heinz alphabetti spaghetti as far as I am concerned.

Peter: Oh my god, Brian, there's a message in my Alphabits. It says, 'Oooooo.'
                Brian: Peter, those are Cheerios.

There are some fancy ones out there though...

Something that I was wondering was if you could get kid's alphabet fridge magnets in nice fonts. The ones we have are from the dollar store and seem to be in uglydiscofunkypants sans.

The alphabet fridge magnets I have at home are cooper black - or pretty darn close. I've wanted alphabet fridge magnets my whole life but my mother likes a tidy kitchen and alphabet fridge magnets were not considered tidy by my mother's standards.

So now our fridge usually has obscene messages made out in colourful letters
