  • Font looks different in Illustrator?

    #1
Hey guys - A quick question for you. I have a font called Feel Script, it's an awesome font. I type something out in Photoshop, and it's all swirly and somewhat extended, which is how it should look. I type something out in Illustrator, and all the cool swirls on the ends of the letters are gone, and it's not extended anymore, it's just a slightly cool script font that looks like any other script font. So I'm wondering why the font changes from program to program and if there's a way to fix it. It's obviously the same font, but it's changed. Thanks so much for any thoughts!

Well apparently with my brief google of this font it is shared alot on P2P networks as well as torrents. I also read the home page of the font and this is what it had to say:

Feel Script has more than 1200 glyphs including: stylistic alternates, contextual alternates, titling alternates, swashes, and ligatures.
So if you have the full version it should be legit, but if for say, you are using a downloaded or hacked version, then you be giving responses like this:

I have it too. I'm looking for the complete version. It has alternate beginnings & endings & swashes & Upper Cases.
So maybe you don't have the complete version? For reasons which we do not know

Ahh, yeah that makes sense, then. I downloaded it off of some free font website. I'll have to search for the complete version! Thanks so much.

Very Murray Hillish. I'm surprised it didn't pop up at myfonts.

Thanks! Yeah, it is a really nice font. One of my favorites. I'm sort of a typography freak and I have a slight addiction to fonts. :P

                *puts on wish list*

                I really like it too.
This post is brought to you by the letter E and the number 9. Those are the buttons I push to get a Twix out of the candy machine.

                  Murray Hill gone wild.

It is a very nice script font I have been seeing a lot on Veer.
Hopefully it wont be overused within a year.
