  • Pairing font with Art Deco

    #1
I am creating a brochure (for academic purposes) and for the first letter of each new section I will be using an "art deco" font. I am interested if anyone has a suggestion as what font would pair well for the main text. Thanks for your help in advance!

i would say that depends on a lot of things- the style of art deco type you use - the overall look you're going for of the whole piece etc etc.

    Can you post an example?

I'll be using a font like "Engravers".

Let me try to go into depth a bit more....
I am designing a bi-fold brochure for a library. I will be using graphics that feature the alphabet in an art deco style. I would like to tie in the text with the graphics, so i thought i would do one letter per section in the art deco style. The rest of the brochure should be quite easy to read, but I don't want the font to be as plain as, say "itc franklin" or "calibri". Hope that helps a bit more and thanks in advance!

Is there any red flags to look for in the meeting where he should just pack his stuff and run? Or anyway the art could be presented to deter the potential client from jacking his art? Obviously don't...

I don't think the picture frame is working. I had to read your description to work out what the shape was. If the runner silhouette was somewhere else in the design I might recognise the shape better.

Sorry but I can't see the logo. Can you re-upload it?
