I have a few images i've done over the past few weeks and I would like some critique and/or ideas for my work.

Below are the links to the images. I've broken them down into sections.

Thanks in advance to anyone who critiques.

    Also,
If someone could please tell me what I should charge for each image if i were to sell them, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you draw that red dragon by hand? Looks cool.....On pretty much all your stuff, I see alot of generic filters / styles and use of the color gray, which isnt a good thing lol...mabye just try experimenting with stuff that goes out of order, not everything really needs to be in a box of some kind ^ ^ But at this point im just like rambeling on and on hehe

I've only actually been using photoshop for a few weeks.

I dont know where to look for new brushes, filters, etc. so if anyone has any links on those let me know.

And what do u mean out of order ?? I'd like to know.

Oh and no i didnt draw the dragon or the tribals.
They were images my brother gave to me to put on his background so thats the design i came up with in the end.

              Thanks for the critique.

You can edit your original post and change the links there.

The website is fine, although I would change the font away from Times. Also make some roll-overs for the menu maybe. You will learn a lot about websites on this forum.

RX-7 seems really cool. Have you driven one of the new ones?

Yeah, it was only for a little bit though.
                  I personally like the 93 - 95 Rx7s over the new Rx8's though.

They not only look better but they are twin turbo and have alot more potential.
The new 8's arent even expecting a turbo kit till later.

But they are both good cars. *Rotary Power*

And I signed up to get helpful critique and to learn some stuff.
I just purchased a domain and I would really like to do something with it. Only thing i can come up with is graphic design and i just started doing that a few weeks ago.
Even if i only make 30 or 40 dollars a month off the graphic stuff, it still pays for the domain and the hosting and all that good stuff.

I'd also like to add some unique tutorials if anyone is interested, get ahold of me by e-mail, or instant messenger (info on my site: www.joeykhar.com)
And i'll give props to whoever does the tutorials or templates.

Keep in mind though these will be free. I wont be making money off other peoples complete designs.

My website is actually a template i slightly modified from a free site. The reason for this is because I wanted to get my site up fast and couldnt really come up with a design for it.
I am currently redesigning it though for version 2.

By out of order I meant everything I saw of yours was in some kinda metalic looking box / border that was beveled, try to get away from that.....or if you are going to continue to do that, make it more detailed, add wires / holes / pannels, etc. to them....Dont make it so obvious that there is a huge bevel around it....its very bare with alot of negative space. And for your first week of photoshop thats pretty good....but stay away from the generic filters and 'tricks' that are shown on the web that you can do in five-ten minutes ( like the liquid backgrounds on your wallpapers ). Makes them look un-professional....when just flat text and a white background would look so much more professional if you just place it in the right area with the right design....and yes the font choice has to go, I would use Arial or something. And probably a more simple font for the buttons, if you wanted a high tech look then edit the font itself, carefully that is....I would make it Futura Compressed and then add a gradient overlay with a small bevel at 100% white / black colors and a black stoke to go with the rest of your site.
