I am learning CSS & PHP and have created this site for myself. Right now, it looks horrible in IE on windows. The background images don't function like they do in the gecko browsers or Safari. I would love for IE users to be able to experience my site the way I do, but I cannot find any info about this. Or I am just not searching correctly. I would love to hear what y'all think of my site, and appreciate any criticism/suggestions

I am not using any tables, the CSS controls everything.

That is bad a$$!

However, you don't have doctype. tisk tisk.

That background position issue in IE is known and is a major bummer. Microsoft are a bunch of dumbasses.

Your rollovers break in IE too. You should just use CSS.

Very nice site! I tried a handful of browsers on my mac and had no problems with anything, must just be those micro-suckers!

Your site is great man. I love the fact that it's very creative.

I'm learning CSS and I'm about to plung into PHP. You defiently have talent.

Thanks for the kind words

I have a few sites that are finished, i just havent added them to the gallery. I am still putting together some content, and tweaking the code here and there. The goal is the have a few themes to choose from, just to show how powerful CSS is. And of course, to have the whole site validate

I have been into graffiti for some time, but have only recently started painting. We have been going out every weekend for the last 4 weeks, and have a huge production planned for saturday.

PHP is fun. For some twisted reason I enjoy writing code

Your still bombing? DAM!

I can't do that anymore, I can't risk getting caught unless you got permission to bang up a few walls.

I'm about to start some tutorials on PHP later on today. I'm still trying to get Apache to run good on the Mac. I'm completely new to this. I've been a Graphic Artist for more then four years and have been active in web design for the last two but mostly used Dreamweaver for this stuff. Now I'm handcodeing and have to learn how to make a site more then a visual experience. Which for some wierd reason I'm enjoying the ride aside from some personal stress that is making me bug out.

lol, No. Im not bombing. Too much to lose now. We finally got a legal spot to paint at.

Apache is installed when OSX is installed. And it should be running by default. PHP is also installed by default, you just have to enable it in the apache config.

Also thats great man you got a place to paint at. I haven't touched a spray can since 96. Soooooo long ago but I still love the graff man. It's really a great art.

I read your macPHP thread, and it seems as if its all ready to go.

Put <?php phpinfo(); ?> into a file called anything.php, and drop it in /Library/Webserver/Documents

Then open your browser, type http://localhost/anything.php
If you get a bunch of info, it worked

Cool... I really like that you included your graffiti (big fan here). And I like that you have scripts on there to share... I didn't look on Windows, but it looks good on IE for Mac.
