Bah! When I did my first web site there was no such thing as web site validators. Or, for that matter, web browsers that would actually know what to do with valid HTML if you gave it to them.
It was a magical time, full of browsers doing weird and inexplicable things with your HTML. Also, there were tables. Many, many tables.
I don't miss any of that...

So that was when you entered the URL and pressed the return/enter key, and monks would carefully copy the Web page with their quill pens, with fully-illuminated MOSAICs, and deliver them to you by horseback?Originally posted by hewligan View PostBah! No. They hadn't invented the horse yet. Instead, the monk delivering the MOSAIC would be followed by a second monk clapping two coconut halves together

Not at all. They could be carried.
By a monk, delivering a MOSAIC a long way away.
Obviously, it would be silly to suggest they were carried by swallows. They hadn't been invented yet, either.

Commented to A Series of Album CoversI imagine there's all sorts of fan art out there in this style for inspiration. You already have the banner templates, so just find an interesting way of using them. It doesn't have to be overly complicated...

Commented to A Series of Album CoversGood points, although I'm unsure how to correct this without starting it all over from scratch and scrapping the whole idea. I'll have to think about it.

Commented to A Series of Album CoversYes, I got the general idea from my copy of Gulliver's Travels.
I had hoped that I could convey the seasons with the colors and leaves, with the greens representing Summer and Spring and... -

Commented to DIY Wedding InvitationsUnfortunately I don't have access to any other programs, gah. Question about crop marks...are they necessary? This may sound like a silly question, but for the invitations, the design itself is very simple...
