Ok so the site i just finished is great, client loves it and its live. BUT the cllient has a secure site. So when i was up loading it some one said to me to change the http// to https//. So im like errrrr yeahhhhh i'l do that now...lol

Has anyone got any idea how i do this?

Type an "s" at the end?

Secure HTTP is a function of the web server. Unless you're the one configuring the web server, then you can't do anything about it.

If you are, then it depends on which web server you're using.

All im doing is uploading it to his ftp.

But i kind of have a feeling the hosting company has his domain setup wrong. When i google the address i go to the http// not the https//

Unless the server has been set up to direct all page requests to https, it's not unusual that you'd also be able to access some pages via http.

Yeah, that's to do with the configuration of the DNS and/or the server. Unless you're handling that, someone ele is going to need to fix it.

                Buda edited it for you.

Like the forum FAQ says, you have a very limited amount of time to edit your posts, 15 minutes to an hour, depending on when the servers cycle.
