  • Trans CSS Framework

    #1
    Hey everyone,
We just published a new CSS framework called Trans.

It allows you to add transparency and transparent effects to your website with CSS and includes a great IE6 png fix....

    What do you think?

Interesting concept and could be useful in some cases, but it doesn't offer any flexibility if you wanted to use a figure other than the classes that you have set up. For example, if I wanted to set something up that was 53% opacity, your framework doesn't have the flexibility to do that.

A smarter way would be to use javascript and/or php to auto generate the transparent images on the fly then apply them automatically to any class or ID that you needed (using CSS selectors). The code would be lighter and it would be flexible enough to get any amount of transparency you needed.
