I am redesigning a website for a local health spa, and one of their distributors have a really slick site. They also have some kind of system for embedding custom fonts.

(where it says "Natural Perfume" and the sub heading underneath it.)
I'm trying to figure out how they did it but I have no idea. I've seen embedded fonts that allow you to select the whole word at a time, but not individual letters like this...
Since the type is selectable, this is really appealing to website designers who are stuck using the same couple of system fonts originally.
Does anybody have any insight into how they might have got this to work? I'm sick of having to create images/flash animations just to use custom fonts.
