Hi - I am working on a design for a sort of 'extreme' summer camp website. I've attached a jpg of the image I've got so far. I need to know what it needs. It feels incomplete to me (I know, no text or anything yet - but I'm not to that point yet)... I'm getting a feeling for the 'graphical' aspect of it... what does it need? I would really appreciate it if someone would give me their thoughts. Thank you in advance for you time!

I think the graphic is way too big. If I imagine text on the page, I still can only see myself paying attention to the graphic. It's a good layout, but I would suggest keeping the graphics and logo balanced with the rest of the page. If it were my page, I would shrink down the guy and the logo behind him, and extend a menu bar to act as a divider...not the menu buttons themselves, but create a divider between the top and the bottom.

That's just my 2 cents. Also, I am not sure about the color of the navy blue. You might want to check out http://www.easyrgb.com/harmonies.php for color harmonies to your main color, which I am assuming to be orange?

Hope that helped!

Yeah, the logo is overwhelming. I like it though.

its really great theme... but as you said... it does need finishing up a bit... also im not too keen on the font.. could be because not too clear or whatever.. but i guess you can sort that out later.. once you have it all together
good luck
