  • How to enlarge this picture.

Hey guys, I'm having my car hood wrapped, I have the image I want on it but they say it needs to be higher res, I was wondering if there was a way to enlarge it without making it blurry. If not I'll have to pay them to make a similar image ( which is what they are leaning on )

I just wanted to make sure I'm not getting fooled around before I pay them. Maybe if someone can design something here similar and cheaper I can do that as well.

Thanks for any help in advance.

You contact this guy who created the art and ask him if a higher resolution image is available.

If yes, then most likely you pay him some money.

Recreating or otherwise printing this without his permission is copyright infringement.

No, there is no good way to do that. Doing so would require a software program that could make intelligent, artistic decisions about how best to add more detail to the image.

            That is ridiculously low resolution.

No way you can enlarge that to fill a car hood, unless you don't care that it has no detail.
You may as well say I have only 27˘ where can I get software to make that $1000?

Until the secret CSI photo enhancement filter plug in is released for PhotoShop we are stuck with low res images.

photoviewerpro is not going to take a computer screenshot (or worse a web image) and enlarge it to car hood size.
                  Neither will Photoshop.
Wonder how the OP made out with his query.
I'm laying odds, the artist either said no, or offered to get it printed for him, rather than give up the art file.
