  • My First Osprey Captures! (Finally)

    #1
I was told about this osprey awhile back and thought I should visit him soon before he takes off. I was thrilled to see him perched upon a basball diamond light post where a nest was. I started off taking pics of him perched, and it didn't look like he wanted to fly. Just before I went home he blessed me with some flight shots. For the first time witnessing these creatures it was quite the experience!

Here's a few pics to share...I've got many more but these are the ones that stood out the most to me.

Great shots! I should start shooting with my canon more often. The digital is so convenient, but the canon takes much better pics.

What is this birds wingspan? It looks about 6 feet to me, but I don't have anything to compare it to.

Corned: I'm not sure but I'm sure you are close it was pretty big when fully spanned...it was quite the sight to see!

                  Awesome shots Tyger!

Cornfed, I think you might just be about right as the Osprey is not that much smaller than the great American Eagle that has a 7 foot wing-span.

I am in awe Tiger! You should do a calendar with all your bird shots.

We don't require a signature. The client can confirm a file to print or advise of corrections any way they see fit. A simple email reply of "Ok to print" is sufficient.

                                But...

That's it! I just tested it out but hit a road block. I can't see an option for Hidden in PDF but printable. I'm on CS5. Any ideas if they did away with this option or if it's somewhere else?

Looks very Saul Bass inspired... The typography isn't working very well. Listen do the advise above. Good luck Jah!

Go with "plastic" sheets as BJMR suggested. Your portfolio will feel dated within a couple of months and you want to upgrade it and customize it for certain jobs. You will get back your money...
