You prob had this question asked many times before but I really want to know how people get their photos to look so perfect.
    Like this:

or even something simple like this:
    http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2001/...ae6a8ce6_o.jpg
    Looks better than my photos.
I have this photo but it just doesn't look good.

This is the original photo I took

And this is the best I can get it.

    Using this tutorial: http://www.photoshoptalent.com/photo...g-freckles.php

But it still doesn't look that good. The colour and lighting isn't good.
Any tips, tutorials, or ideas I can use to improve the photo.

Make the shot as close to perfect in the camera as you can - don't depend on Photoshop to salvage a bad photo.

    Watch the shadows.

    Always use fill flash outdoors.
Columbus, Ohio is not off the map.

Why would you have someone else's work on your portfolio site?

I'd recommend colored borders. love it that you can scroll down and I think "get all the information". Unfortunately, it's in a foreign language none of anything seems to whittle anythng down,...

The fact that this will be a paint mask and really just needs clean shapes with no regard for color palette I'd assume would be an easier task than taking a full color JPG image and performing the same...

Remember all the things that made it easy to find whatever it was you were looking for on a site? Don't forget about it when you make your designs. The designs come second. Content first.

I'm 17. I do not think my passion is going to change because to be honest since the time I was a kid I found computer graphics pretty dope. It's just that last year I got involved in it. At first I thought...
