You're finding out something a lot of people don't realize; that graphic design often involves much more than making pleasant looking graphics. Iin fact most of the time it entails the actual engineering...

Oh hey B! Thanks for the response, I eventually got it figured out. I don't know what brought me the 81.7, I forgot to multiply by 3.14. I got confused by the diameter symbol I guess, but I got it figured...

Where are you getting the 81.7mm figure? Are you thinking that the 80.3mm ± 1.5mm on the diagram should be the width of the label? If so, why are you thinking that? Do you want the label to wrap exactly...

uses XSI's Hair Module for the river.Isaiah Saxon of Encyclopedia Pictura explains:
"Were using a hair module Softimage XSI for a CG river. The look we wanted in the river was a rendering of this Japanese-type aesthetic of a river where it is small faceted strands of liquid movement all moving independently in a stringing way. That was the approach we wanted for the river in order to match into the heightened reality with the puppets and costumes and everything else. So we ended up using the hair module in XSI because it was the only thing that could move in that way and it seemed like a reasonable approach without having to hand-animate every string of the river. The hair gets moved by a real water simulation underneath it but it is actually water and hair and then Real Flow foam and splashes and bubbling on top of that."

and more of the making's here.

Visually appealing I must say ... but now if only her voice didn't sound like fingernails down a blackboard to me

I saw this video over the weekend. I don't watch a lot of music videos because most of them are garbage but we sat through the whole thing. Bjork is a very strange person. In a totally interesting way.
It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" Winnie the Pooh
