  • 3D Showcase

Since there are a growing number of 3d artist joining the boards I thought it would be a good idea to have a separate showcase section for 3d. So come one come all 3d artists and show your stuff.

One of my favourite transformer characters. This was mt first model done in Swift3d v4 which i picked up a few months ago. Considering that this program is not as high end as other apps like Maya, Max it turned out pretty good.

Hey guys - how do I make an image appear here? I have it saved to a URL. Is there a size limit for this forum?

I'll just try using the advanced mode and see if it works...

I made this while developing an entry for a Renderosity contest using Bryce.
I am still on the steep-learning-curve for this program, but seem to learn something new every day. Are there any Bryce fans out there?

Love the touch with your little logo thing on the bike.
                              Nice work, detailed. :-)

                              I dunno though...
It seems a bit too long.

You wouldn't totally be "laid back chopper style"

I use photobucket, but instead of pasting the link, I paste in the IMG tag it provides. That puts the image right in your post. I wonder if that would give you better results.

Thank you, seamas. I submitted my labels last night. The final toned labeled were improved somewhat before submission - namely, the brewery logo included and drop shadows for the illustrations (link below)....

Texture overlay. I did something similar recently using an image of textured paper, put it on the top layer, and played with the opacity/blending settings until it looked good. If you want to get more...
