These were ideas in my head that I made for fun not to be implemented in any way. Yes the banner is meant to be seen on a computer and because I had to screenshot both it looks smaller than it actually...

How far away and in what situation do you expect that banner to be read? Lots of tiny type (unless you mean banner ad on a website.)
The call to action "Come to know Christ," I get that...

I know, I just thought since graphic designers are artists and are free to express the creativity to a building that houses and nurtures the skill and gets more profit from that skill. One should be able...

Lots of HR departments scan in resumes and covert them to searchable text using OCR. Your resume wouldn't work for that. It might catch an art director's eye or appeal to a business owner who was impressed...

So happy this thread is still alive. Every chance any of you get, you should point artists, designers and clients to it because sometimes business people don't realize they are insulting designers by...

• Background for webpages showing as small lines, etc. How-to?

Many of the website are now using a background which looks like 1 pixel small lines.
I have tried to replicate this in many ways, but can't seem to get it right.
I have made the image in a larger version and then reduced it down to 1x1 picels, but that only blends everything together.
Does anyone know the trick for this.
I have attached a sample of what I'm talking about.
Please help!
Thanks.

1x1? man that's too small. all that'll do is show a solid background the color of the line. try creating a block that's 5x5. keep in mind that the backgrounds tile, so make sure the lines line up. that should work.
