  • Fireworks MX: preserve text in file export to html?

    #1
When I export a fireworks file into html my text becomes part of the image. Can I preserve my text so I could edit the text in Dreamweaver? Thanks.

using the HTML that imageready or fireworks spits is usually pretty bad.....

for one you shouldnt be using every graphic in your design....fireworks wont stretch images for you etc.....sounds like you arent using DW like your suppose to

slice the image and pull each image to a table cell in DW.... learn a bit of html to help you along the way too.....

---- Sheriff of Boobie Island --------

Wayne: Our enemy is wicked, so...
    J.D.: Dude, she's Freddy Krueger.
    Wayne: Damien.
    J.D.: Dude, she's Vader.
    Wayne: No! She's the Emperor.
J.D.: Yeah, but with really great ****.

Actually, I use dreamweaver for most of my web production work but I'm searching for shortcuts that eliminate the need for recreating my design (already done in fireworks) in dreamweaver.
