After i converted a photo to smart filters, some how i lost all my filters and cant figure how to get them back... It will only allow me to use the few filters on smart filter.

yep if your in CMYK or LAB, some filters are not available. You need to be in RGB to do all your filter and effects work, then if its for print, save, flatten, change color mode to CMYK, and save in the format you need it in - tho I'd make sure you always have an original / native unflattened, layered psd file to refer back to just in case you have to make any changes, etc.Comment
