First question in my mind is why the mesh looking gradient on the circle? Kinda distracts my eye from the words. I'd suggest going for a flat approach and just use a shade of purple. What keening matters...

Yeah I understand what you guys are saying. :3 I know I'm more than just someone who thinks they can call themselves a designer just because they make pretty work. I actually get minor headaches when...

Thanks for the advice. What if I take the logo on the back, center the words and add white space to both sides? Like add white space on the top right corner since I'm printing them in matte so they...

It's a nice logo, but placing it on the same card three separate times seems like two too many times.

  • Starting out..what to get..CS Premium or CS Standard?

Hi folks. I was just wondering for someone starting out in graphic design (print), would it be better to get the CS suite Premium (with GoLive and Acrobat), or would the Standard suite (without GoLive and Acrobat) suffice? I just wanted to start off first learning print before getting into the web too much. Still, I also wonder if getting the Premium would be better in the long run. I'm also trying to save money if I can (lol). Any thoughts or opinions on this would be most welcome.
Thank you all for your time.

    Sincerely,
    Joe

    Get the Premium.
Having Acrobat is DEFINITELY worth it.

PrintDriver is a large format digital print dude. His advice/opinions may not apply to the 4color/offset/web world of printing
