  • Help! Can't print to PDF in InDesign CS3

    Using Adobe CS3 - InDesign

    Help! I have a magazine design layout that I need to output to PDF and the PDF option is no longer available or showing up in my Print dialog box.

    I've outputted to PDF before using the same program. The option was always there. Now all I see is a PostScript File option and my home printers.

    Grrr!

    Please help!

    Just use EXPORT under the file menu.

      WHOA! ROFLMAO! OMG, thank you so friggin much! I kept going to Export and just wasn't dropping down to PDF.

      Still don't know why the option isn't where it used to be ... but right now ... it doesn't matter! Woo-Hoo!

        Lol!

        One solution might be that you don't have Acrobat Pro installed? That usually adds Adobe PDF as a printer option. You should switch to a Mac. You have a PDF option right out of the box. =)

          Sometimes its a little button in the print dialog box down on the lower left that says PDF. It usually looks grayed-out but isn't really.
