It was your post, it was green for a while and stopped being green, maybe it was a bug. Does anyone know what it's called when you see a bad design and get a headache just by seeing it? Is there a...

Do you mean his user name is green, or his whole post/comment is shaded green? His user name is green because he's been here a loooong time. You should not be able to see green shaded (unapproved) po...

People hire interns all the time. The idea is that they hire them knowing they don't have qualifications and they are there to learn. That's what a mentored internship is. A learning experience. We have...

I'd ask a millennial the business card relevance question if I were you. I'm old. And a Luddite.

  • InDesign CS4 Data merge issue

When I merge, (having checked the 'remove blank fields' option), gaps still appear where the fields are blank. Having googled it, I've discovered other people have had the same problem, and it appears to happen wherever there are two blank fields in a row. There's no way I can rearrange the data (it's an address) to ensure two blank fields aren't together.

Having said this, has anyone had the same problem, and is there a workaround for it? Or any ideas to try?

    Cheers

I don't do data mergers at all but this video is good but it's CS3 - still might help though

And the guy will answer any questions if you leave a comment. I think.
