• copy property of an object

Is there a way that I can copy the width and height of an object rather than checking manually.

Not exactly sure what you are asking here, give us some more info.

Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

I don't think so. I usually click on the object, put my cursor in the width field, copy it, click on the other object, paste it into that field and repeat for height. Tedious but....accurate.

sorry I can't help... I don't know anything about Corel but I'm bored so I'm reading this forum.

I haven't lost my mind... it's backed up on disk somewhere.

Cick on the Eyedropper tool to activate it's controls on the top Toolbar. Then uncheck everything under the Properties list, the Effects list, and then check only 'Size' under Transformations.

Select the source object with the dropper, hold shift, and click on your target object.

Unfortunately, it's both height AND width together. You can't separate the two dimensions.

This might be too late but thereis a way.
Select the object you want to change. Click edit, click copy properties from object (or something like that), then click what you want to copy. I use it all the time.
Hope that helps.

???

Copy properties is for fill, outline and text. Not dimensions. Where are you finding this?
