    OK guys...need some quick help here. i'm sure this is a common error, just something i've never come across. when printing a pdf through Quark (and directly through distiller), i'm getting a log file reading:

    [b]
    %%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: findfont ]%%
    Stack:
    /Font
    /Courier
    /courier

    %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
    %%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%
    </BLOCKQUOTE>

    help a brotha out! is it a corrupt font? distiller using a screwy font path? bad print driver? stars misaligned?

    ...and a search turned up every one of Keyare's posts due, ironically, to his witty signature.

      I've had this before, it's a quark thing. sometimes a reboot will solve it. Or as a last resort cut and past everything into a new doc and try it again. Hope this helps.

        thanks, Kool! i've decided to 'just let it go' until i get back to work on Tuesday. maybe the problem will magically disappear. there's some .eps images in the file that may have not been converted to outlines too. we'll see.

        ...have a good mem. day weekend!

            Oops - sorry 'bout that. But as you could tell - I run into that alla time. There's never a really straight forward answer for me - i usually get around it by trying a combination of trying it on other computers or printing the file to a postscript file (level1) and distilling that or using a pdf printer or whatever - no help here I bet. You're on a mac aren't you?

              thanks Key! i'm actually on a windoze machine at work, but i believe the original artwork was created on a mac. hmmm...i'll try printing it to a PS file first and see if that works. good lookin' out!
