The idea behind this to create a seamless backdrop, similar to what you would find at a photography shoot. Its a way of getting a background and floor that looks like it was photographed. Basically the backdrop is placed so that the background and floor are the same color but the way it is positions allows shadows to fall onto the floor so it doesn't look like the text / logo is just floating in space.

This was not created in photoshop. From the first image it looks like Cinema 4D but it can be accomplished in any 3D modeling program.

I know its not photoshop because I've been in the design industry for 12 years and now what software is used for what. Get a 3D program to achieve these results.

I honestly don't think there is a way to get that done in PS. That programme is Cinema4D (If you already know) and it allows you to work in 3D which Photoshop doesn't. It's not a 3D software so it wont allow it. If you want to get a result like that then your going to have to use Cinema4D or any other 3D software. The other option is to look at the blank document in Photoshop and create the whole thing as a 3D project. They're my only two options.

Are you trying to troll us or something...

PS is not a 3D program. Does it have some 3D capabilities yes, but so does Illustrator. Doesn't mean you can do actual detailed modeling and lighting.

If you want to do 3D you need to look into getting 3D software. Try Blender out, its free and has everything you would need to get into modeling.
