  • How to Delete Selected Backround

I'm making a logo in pixelmator.I have one issue. I wanted to delete a strip off of a circle I had. I drew a line on a different layer over the part that I wanted gone. I'm trying to figure out how to delete both that line and the part of the circle so that I can use a transparent background.

Sorry never used pixelmator, but I can tell you that it is the wrong software for creating a logo because it's a raster image editor. For a logo you want to use a vector image editor as the format is based on math that makes the file fully scaleable without compromising resolution (provided raster effects aren't included).

Plus providing non-industry-standard file formats to print/web houses could result in additional charges as they wouldn't have that software/expertise to handle your file, involving more time and hours to convert it to something useable.
