  • What kind of PC should I buy?

    #1
I am a Mac gal. My Powerbook and I have conquered many tasks.

However, my contract with Microsoft is ongoing and the software they require me to download is, of course, only good on a PC. Right now, I am using an old PC that was given to us used. It's time to buy a new PC and I know nothing about what kind of brand to get or how much memory I need.

I use Photoshop and Illustrator and I also am having to download a bunch of special MS programs to access their network.

Does anyone have any advice on what kind of computer they recommend?

    Many thanks fo your insight.

I just bought a Dell myself.....I love it! I have an HP also tho. You can go to their websites and do comparisons and things. Thats what I did.

Dell. We just got some sweet ones in here at work. Really compact and powerful. Still not a Mac but a damn good PC!

I use an HP, and I have had no complaints.

I actually used to use a PC, but now they just frustrate and irritate me.

when buying a manufactuered pc its a good idea to pick up a retail version of windows, the copy they give you is jam packed full of crap.
